The Rosselkhoznadzor prohibits the supply of crustaceans from the Vietnamese enterprise Workshop i Seaprodex from 8 December because of the arsenic shrimps found in its frozen ice cream
The enterprise's products, which will be delivered before December 8, are subjected to intensive laboratory control.
Vietnam is one of the largest suppliers of crustaceans (to this group are shrimp) in Russia.
This is not the first time arsenic is found in shrimps. In 2015, this substance was found in crustaceans from India, in another shimp supply, cadmium was detected.
