Rosselkhoznadzor warned Russian honey exporters to China

With repeated cases of importation of poor-quality beekeeping products, the agency will allow export only after laboratory checks.
During the food state monitoring specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor department for Primorsky Krai and the Sakhalin region found a banned drug - furazolidone - in beekeeping products. The exporter was an enterprise that had previously been certified for the right to supply products to China.
"Given the repeated detection of banned and harmful substances in honey exported from Russia to the PRC, as well as the warning by the Chinese side about the possibility of a complete ban on the import of beekeeping products in the event that these cases are repeated, shipment of such products for export to China is possible only after Laboratory studies, "the Rosselkhoznadzor agency noted.
The Office draws attention to the need for strict compliance with the requirements of the PRC in accordance with the state standards adopted by this country.
