Vladivostok Customs opened a criminal case on a businessman

4,05 million rubles of customs payments underpaid a businessman from Vladivostok to the state budget. Vladivostok Customs revealed a crime and opened a criminal case. This is reported by DV-ROSS with reference to the press service of the Vladivostok Customs.
17127 boxes of new rubber pneumatic tires for cars and trucks were imported in 2018 from China to the Vladivostok company. Declaring the goods, the importer intends to understate the cost of tires.
According to Alexey Ksenofontov, the head of the inquiry department of the Vladivostok customs, customs officers found out that the head of the company bought tires in China at prices significantly higher than indicated in the customs declarations. Inaccurate declaration resulted in a reduction in customs duties and taxes payable.
Vladivostok Customs opened a case against the head of the company in part of 1 Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The offender waits for punishment up to two years in prison.
